This association will allow me to continue to comment and publish on tax matters while teaming with other seasoned tax professionals to advise on complex transactions. Leo Berwick is a new firm made up of ex-Big 4 and law partners that focus on M&A Tax.  It has personnel with experience ranging from the IRS, to Washington National Tax, to people that were the National Leader of M&A tax for a Big 4 firm. The clients of the firm range from large institutional investors with hundreds of billions of dollars of capital, to small businesses looking to sell or acquire other small businesses. Leo Berwick operates as a boutique firm so there is less red tape and yet the firm operates, in my experience, at the level of major law and accounting firms.
